Another beautiful recent grant from the CHA to Daniel Thomas Bartie.
Interestingly, the lion in the crest is not langued nor armed Gules, which is the default of British heraldry.
Arms: Azure a saltire engrailed between two eagles’ heads erased respectant Argent and surmounted by a fir tree eradicated Or;
Crest: A lion statant erect Azure holding in its dexter paw a bow Or, in its sinister paw a carnelian stone proper, and rigged with a quiver of arrows Or;
Motto: FAMILIA PRIMUM;
