Argent, a cross pattce quadrate in the centre gules, a chief of the arms of Burdett-Coutts quarterly viz., i and 4, argent, a stag's head erased gules, between the attires a pheon azure, all within a bordure embattled of the last charged with four buckles or (Coutts), 2 and 3, azure, two bars or, on each three martlets gules (Burdett).
