WILTON (Wiltshire).
WILTON (Wiltshire). Has no armorial bearings. The seal, which is very ancient, represents the figure of a saint in a niche of a shrine of Gothic work, and over it an angel holding an escutcheon of the arms of England, namely,
"Gules, three lions passant guardant in pale or." A very different seal was recorded at the visitation.
