    Quarterly: first or three lions passant in pale azure
 crowned and armed or tongued gules shown higher and
 to the dexter nine hearts gules shown very much smaller
 higher and to the dexter (which is for Denmark), second
 or two lions passant in pale azure armed or tongued
 gules shown higher and to the sinister (which is for
 Schleswig), third azure a chief azure three crowns
 or in chief two and one shown much lower and to the
 dexter (which is for the Kalmar Union) a ram argent
 shown much smaller and very much to the dexter (which
 is for the Faroe Islands) a bear rampant argent tongued
 gules shown much smaller and very much to the sinister
 (which is for Greenland), fourth or three lions passant
 in pale azure crowned and armed or tongued gules nine
 hearts gules shown very much smaller, over all quarters
 a fillet cross argent fimbriated gules.

An escutcheon or two bars gules (which is for Oldenburg).
