Notes

Best known as the "Defensor Fidei", the prince-bishop Gunther was more known as a man of action rather than a man of faith. He conquered his moniker after defending the episcopal seal in Altenberg from the assault of the Pagan Horde, finished in the day of Easter, as recalled by the chief of his shield.
