Suggestion for a new flag of NY State. The orange/white/purple scheme is a modification of the Dutch-derived orange/white/blue scheme common in New York but with Iroquois/Haudenosaunee purple substituted for the blue. The White Rose of York is added partly as a canting element and partly because the rose is the state flower of New York. (Resubmission because the first was lost.)
