Notes

This coat of arms was granted in 2017 by the Canadian Heraldic Authority. The division of the field represents the prairie to the south and the Canadian Shield to the north. It also represents some of the complementary differences between groups in the community. The blue also alludes to the waters of baptism and to the First Nations creator. The ermine spots represent the Diocese of Rupert's Land, out of which this one was formed; the fur trade in this region; and the idea of coming together within a religious community. -Ae1
