Notes

This coat of arms was granted by the Canadian Heraldic Authority to Dianne Louise Atkinson in 2014. For Ms. Atkinson, the reverse triangle in the upper quarter symbolizes both "mother" and "woman," and the one in the lower quarter refers to the symbol for fire. The blue of the cross symbolizes the water of Pisces, her birth sign. In some cultures, the wolf symbolizes her birth month of March, and the moon alludes to the goddess Diana from whom her name originates. -Ae1
