On this day, Cristóbal de Mondragón, breaks the siege of Goes.
The arms of Goes are interesting. I don't know what is their history, but I'd like to know!
And I'm sure of NONE of this blazon. Anybody wants to chip in?
Per pale abased Grand Quarterly and Sable
In chief 1 and 4: Lozengy bendy Azure and Argent
2 and 3: Quarterly A and D: Or, a lion rampant Sable. B and C: Or, a lion rampant Gules.
Coronet: a Count's coronet.
In base, a Swan close passant Proper
