BERMU DAS COM PAN Y (The Company of Merchants of the Summer Islands). Argent a ship in a wrought sea wrecked between two rocks, all proper. Crest — On a wreath of the colours (argent and gules) on a mount vert, a boar standing between two palm-trees proper. Supporters — Two Tritons proper. Motto —

" Periissemus nisi periissemus."
