MONTGOMERYSHIRE. Has no armorial bearings. Those which have been adopted for display upon the seal of the County Council are, " Or, a lion rampant gules," with the Motto— "Vo^ys Paradwys Cymry." The arms are those attributed to Bleddyn ap Cynfyn, King of Powys, A.D. 1046.
