ONTARIO (Province of, Dominion of Canada). Vert, a sprig of three leaves of maple slipped or, on a chief argent, the cross of St George. Crest — On a wreath of the colours, a bear passant sable. Siipporters — (Dexter) a moose, (sinister) a Canadian deer, both proper. Motto — " Ut incepit fidelis sic permanet."
