ST. VINCENT. Argent, in base a field of grass vert, thereon on an ancient altar charged with two clasped hands or, fire, between two female figures proper, vested azure, the de.xter figure erect holding in the right hand a branch of olive slipped, the sinister figure kneeling on the right knee and offering sacrifices all proper. Crest — A sprig of the cotton-plant leaved and slipped proper. Motto —
" Pax et justitia."
