Notes
The arms are an amalgamation of the areas which were merged together in the Styrian Municipal Structural Reform of 2015. The arms of Teufenbach, granted on April 22nd 1985, are composed of the arms of the Teufenbacher family (arg two bars sa) and a dragon (wyvern), a symbol of Saint-Margaret the Virgin, patron saint of Teufenbach. The chief represents the town of Frojach-Katsch, whose arms, granted on May 22nd 1978, are based on an ancient belt buckle found there during excavations.
