Notes

This coat of arms was granted by the Canadian Heraldic Authority in 2015. The arms use the school colors of gold and green; gold represents excellence and value, whereas green symbolizes youth and growth. The elm leaves allude to the school's namesake, as well strength, growth, and the environment. The triangles, said to be an ancient female symbol, represent the school's status as a girls' school The division of the shield can represent the school's four houses, an hourglass for the passage of time, or the cardinal directions: these directions can represent the school's inclusivity and the travels of its students. -Ae1
