BARRHEAD. Has no arms. Those in use are derived from the arms of the old Dukedom of Lennox, viz., Quarterly, i and 4 azure, three fleurs-de-lis within a bordure engrailed or; 2 and 3, three hearts each charged with a cross within the double tressure ; over all an inescutcheon of the arms of Lennox argent, a saltire engrailed between four roses gules Crest — A bull's head crowned. Supporters — Two wolves. Motto — " Virtute et labore." [All quite bogus.]
