BLANDFORD (Dorsetshire). Has no armorial bearings. The seal which is remarkably well cut, shows an escutcheon of England, viz. (gules) three lions passant guardant in pale (or), a label of three points throughout ermine ; on either side of the escutcheon and entwined with the scroll-work of its design is an ostrich feather erect, and all between the letters D.L.
